Everything they need, while you step away
Respite guests receive the full Pine Haven experience: personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication support, and help with shopping and daily tasks. A registered nurse and LPNs on staff oversee care, so even a short stay comes with real clinical oversight.
It’s also a wonderful, no-pressure way to experience Pine Haven first-hand. Many families use a respite stay to see how their loved one settles in before considering longer-term assisted living.
Respite care for mid-Michigan families
Pine Haven sits in the country in Hemlock, about 25 minutes west of Saginaw, a short drive south of Midland, and a comfortable drive from Bay City. Family caregivers across rural mid-Michigan use us for stays of any length, from a few hours to a few weeks or longer, and your loved one gets the same RN-led care our long-term residents receive: a registered nurse and LPNs on staff, home-cooked meals, and staff on hand 24 hours a day.
Pine Haven accepts the Michigan Medicaid waiver, which may cover some respite services for qualifying residents. Ask us when you call and we will help you find out what applies to your family.
